About the Concert

The international museum Fotografiska of Stockholm is dedicated to new perspectives in contemporary photography and has had a venue in the former Kunsthaus Tacheles on Oranienburger Strasse since 2023. The DSO performs three chamber concerts in the building’s historical ballroom. The programmes respond directly to three exhibitions of photographs, images of which are presented on a large LED wall to accompany the concerts. This concert’s exhibition focuses on people in everyday scenes in the second half of the twentieth century.

With your concert ticket, you can visit all the exhibitions currently on display at Fotografiska Berlin on the day of the concert between 4 pm and 11 pm.

Biography

Vier Musiker des Deutschen Symphonie-Orchesters Berlin und des Mahler Chamber Orchestra haben sich zum Adamello Quartett zusammengefunden, um ihrer Liebe zur Kammermusik Ausdruck zu verleihen. Neben dem klassisch-romantischen Kernrepertoire liegen dem Quartett besonders auch in Vergessenheit geratene Werke sowie zeitgenössische ­Kompositionen am Herzen. Der Name ist Programm: Das Adamello-Gebirge in Norditalien soll zu musikalischen Gipfelstürmen anspornen.
