With more than 30 concerts, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin will once again be present at the Berlin Philharmonie in its 2022-23 season. In addition to numerous projects with its principal conductor Robin Ticciati, the DSO is regularly joined by renowned guest conductors: In addition to conductor laureate Kent Nagano and former principal conductor Ingo Metzmacher, these include Giovanni Antonini, Stéphane Denève, Manfred Honeck, Marie Jacquot, Yutaka Sado, John Wilson and many more.. You can find the season’s conductors here ...

Pre-concert talks
The symphony concerts in the Philharmonie all begin at 8 pm. The DSO offers a pre-concert introduction at 7.10 pm. Habakuk Traber, musicologist and author, provides 30 minutes of insights into the form and content of the works played, presents interesting facts about their composition and reception and offers listening samples using recordings.
