In March 2025, the DSO found a new home at the Wilhelm Hallen in Berlin-Reinickendorf. The premises of this more than 120-year-old former iron foundry house not only the orchestra’s rehearsal and office spaces, but also many enterprises of the cultural and creative economy as well as large exhibition areas, which during the 2025 Berlin Art Week and ›Hallen 06‹ Festival will feature extensive art exhibitions.

In the course of Berlin Art Week, the DSO will greet not only its new neighbourhood but also the wide public coming from all over the world to enjoy this popular contemporary art festival. An array of the orchestra’s various chamber music ensembles will perform on the Wilhelm Studios’ sprawling premises – with music in front of artworks, as a part of installations or spontaneously in the open air.
