›Symphonic Mob‹ 2026 with Kazuki Yamada

The 12th ›Symphonic Mob‹ of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO) came to a highly successful close on the afternoon of Saturday, 20 June 2026, despite the unsettled weather. Around 1,000 music enthusiasts of all ages gathered to form Berlin’s largest pop-up orchestra and choir, meeting for the first time at the Forum of the Center Potsadamer Platz (formerly the Sony Center).

Under the baton of the DSO’s Music Director Designate, Kazuki Yamada, hundreds of amateur musicians joined forces with the professional musicians of the DSO and the Rundfunkchor Berlin to perform works by Mélanie Bonis, Bizet, Brahms, Haydn and Mozart.

The ›Symphonic Mob‹ Berlin 2026 was presented by the DSO in cooperation with ›Das Center‹ and the Rundfunkchor Berlin, with the kind support of the Friends of the DSO.
