'Symphonic Mob' on 6/14/2025

The eleventh 'Symphonic Mob' by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO) ended on Saturday afternoon, 14 June with great success. Around 1,000 music enthusiasts of all ages came together to form Berlin's largest spontaneous orchestra with choir on the piazza of the Mall of Berlin. Together with the professional musicians of the DSO, the Bundesjugendchor (National Youth Choir) and soprano Nina Solodovnikova lead by conductor Catherine Larsen-Maguire, they performed works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Edward Elgar, Gustav Mahler, Florence Price and Giacomo Puccini. Well over 2,000 people were enthralled by the musical spectacle on Leipziger Platz. The DSO's ‘Symphonic Mob’ in Berlin 2025 took place in cooperation with the Mall of Berlin, the Bundesjugendchor and Berlin Sounds from rbb and was kindly supported by DSO’s Förderkreis (Freinds’s Association).
