Chief Conductor Kazuki Yamada from 2026-2027

Kazuki Yamada (46) will become the new Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO), one of the four top ensembles of the Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH Berlin (ROC), starting with the 2026/2027 season. The internationally acclaimed Japanese conductor will assume artistic leadership of the orchestra for an initial period of three years, succeeding Robin Ticciati.
