Nightly Chamber Concerts in Berlin’s Museums

›Notturno Extra‹ – with a special concert in the series, actress Bibiana Beglau, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO) and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation bid a temporary farewell to the Pergamon Museum on 14 October. The museum will close for several years as part of the general renovation. The actress has curated a collection of short texts and poems from the exuberant oeuvre of Pier Paolo Pasolini that relate to urban life and often to his nights. The actress's interpretive power enters into an unprecedented union with Pasolini's casual yet powerful poetry. A picture and sound intensive evening against the impressive backdrop of the Ishtar Gate. Entrance via the James Simon Gallery (Bodestraße).

A crowd pleaser, and not just for night owls: In what is now its 14th season, the Prussian  Cultural Heritage Foundation opens its museums for the ›Notturno‹ series, three chamber concerts with ensembles of the DSO. At 10 pm, when visiting hours are over, the encounter
of art and music beckons; paintings and sculptures can be experienced in completely new contexts. Under the competent guidance of curators, you have the opportunity to first explore the collections before a onehour concert adds completely new facets to the artistic  enjoyment.
