About the Concert

The international museum Fotografiska of Stockholm is dedicated to new perspectives in contemporary photography and has had a venue in the former Kunsthaus Tacheles on Oranienburger Strasse since 2023. The DSO performs three chamber concerts in the building’s historical ballroom. The programmes respond directly to three exhibitions of photographs, images of which are presented on a large LED wall to accompany the concerts. This concert’s exhibition, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, focuses on the self-assertion of women in a male-dominated history of music and art.
