School projects and workshops

Individual musical experiences

Just as in previous seasons, in the 2020-21 season the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin will again offer school projects and workshops that, upon individual consultation, are conducted jointly with school classes and music schools. In this way, we create encounters between our orchestra and children, pupils and young adults from all types of schools – regardless of their background, age and prior training – thus enabling unforgettable and individual musical experiences that make music become part of young people’s own lives.

The projects are always linked to a work that is being performed by the DSO, and are conducted with composers, musicians and visual artists. In the past seasons we have made music, composed, rehearsed and performed with children and young people, getting to know music from all sides.
