On Sunday, February 26, Robin Ticciati and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO) hosted a new discovery of Handel's oratorio 'Solomon' at the Philharmonie. The exquisite work with its magnificent choruses and colorful orchestral part can be experienced in a scenic arrangement by Andrea Tortosa Baquero. British countertenor Iestyn Davies took the title role. Soprano Robin Johannsen slipped into the role as Queen of Sheba, while Joélle Harvey and Ben Bliss embodied Solomon's consort and Zadok. With the magnificent support of the Berlin Radio Choir, Handel's English-language oratorio was sonorously presented.
