New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with the artists of Circus Roncalli at the Tempodrom
The New Year's Eve and New Year's Day concerts that the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin performs together with the artistes of Circus Roncalli at the Tempodrom Berlin have become an indispensable part of the capital's celebrations. After last years's break due to the pandemic, the DSO returned to the arena for three events at the turn of the year 2021-22, where artistic brilliance combined with instrumental virtuosity formed an extraordinary spectacle for the eyes and ears. The orchestra was conducted by James Gaffigan, with DSO concertmaster Wei Lu and DSO solo cellist Valentin Radutiu completing the musical fireworks.
