Open-air Chamber Concert on 5 September 2020
With its claim "Berlin Needs Music" the DSO was spreading out to bring chamber music open air to the people of the capital for the second time on September 5, 2020. 15 chamber music ensembles played pop-up concerts open air in public places all over Berlin. The majority of these ensembles was made up of DSO musicians, but there were also ensembles supervised by members of the orchestra. The concerts lasted about 30 minutes and were staggered in time so that the audience could follow them on a "tour de la musique" along a route across the city. Read more here. Photos: Peter Adamik.
