The DSO Berlin with the artistes of Circus Roncalli, conductor Cristian Măcelaru and violinist Karen Gomyo

The New Year's Eve and New Year's Concerts of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin together with the Circus Roncalli are among the most beautiful things the capital has to offer at the turn of the year. In the new edition of the poetic spectacle at the Berlin Tempodrom 2019-20, music for stage, film and the concert hall was on the program for the artistes' highlights, e.g. music by Antonín Dvořák, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Dmitri Schostakovitch and John Williams. Responsible for the musical performance for the three concerts was the conductor Cristian Măcelaru. At his side, the versatile violinist Karen Gomyo musically led into the New Year and gave her debut with the orchestra.
