About the Chamber Music Project

Since 2015, orchestra members of the DSO have been mentoring chamber music ensembles of all ages at Berlin schools. They offer professional guidance in rehearsing musical works, provide technical assistance in playing, and facilitate an intensive exchange about and through music – with the aim of getting young people excited about this wonderful form of communication and encouraging them to explore it independently.

The results of the current collaboration with ensembles made up of students from the Heinz-Berggruen-Gymnasium, Canisius-Kolleg, Droste-Hülsoff-Gymnasium and Katholische Schule Salvator will be presented at Heimathafen Neukölln on 16 January 2022. Admission is free, but registration → by email to the visitor service is required.
