Japan Tour 2011 with Yutaka Sado
From October 22 until November 6, 2011, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Yutaka Sado, joined by Pianist Evgeni Bozhanov, will go on an extensive concert tour to Japan.
Within 16 days, the orchestra will be heard in 13 performances in 11 cities featuring two different programs. The itinerary spans Japan’s heartland, Tokyo, the East and West coasts, the country’s South and ends on the northern island of Hokkaidō. An especially moving event will take place on October 26, when DSO musicians and Yutaka Sado will play a solidarity concert for families of victims of the March tsunami castatrophe in the city of Natori near Sendai, the earthquake’s epicenter.
