Children's Concerts
Together with Radio Berlin-Brandenburg’s cultural radio station, ‘kulturradio’, we are expanding our children’s programme and inviting 6 to 12 year-olds to experience first-hand the exciting sound worlds of orchestral music. One work serves as the focal point of each concert, with the addition of various surprise pieces. A presentation with lots of examples and exciting stories gives the kids a chance to discover things for themselves. They can join in, talk to the presenters and try things out, all before the concert in the “Open House”. For one and a half hours before each children’s concert they can get to know and have a play on the instruments, provided by Klingendes Museum.
And the best bits of each concert can be heard later on rbb’s kulturradio in their “Classics for Children” (Klassic für Kinder) programme.
